Founder's Circle

Be Part of the Story

Filmmaking takes a village. If Another Mourning meant something to you, here's how you become part of what comes next — your name in the credits, your fingerprints on the work.

Six ways to leave a mark.

Every tier comes with a real credit, real keepsakes, and a permanent place in the story. Whatever you give, you'll know exactly where it went.

The Named

A piece of you, printed in the world of the film.

$150 · one-time
  • Everything above
  • Your name appears on screen in the next film — your choice of a prop (book spine, business card, name tag, gravestone, piece of mail), a background sign, or set dressing
  • A photo from set of your name in the world of the film
  • A signed digital still from production, personalized to you
I reserve the right to use initials or a partial name where the story calls for it. You'll always be told in advance.

Something Bigger in Mind?

If you're thinking about contributing at a higher level — or about something more bespoke, like product placement, a co-producing partnership, or a custom honor — I'd rather have that conversation directly. Reach out at nick@thenickmccabe.com and we'll build something that fits.

Give what feels right.

Not every contribution needs a tier. If you'd rather give an amount of your choosing — whether it's $5 or $5,000 — this goes directly into the next production, with my gratitude. You won't get a credit through this option, but you'll always have my thanks.

Become a part of the studio.

The hardest part of independent filmmaking isn't making one film. It's making the next one, and the one after that. Recurring support is what turns a side project into a body of work — and it's the most meaningful thing a Founder can do.

Every monthly Founder gets ongoing access to the work in progress, regular updates from the studio, and a standing place in the credits of every film made during your patronage.

Good to Know

When will I appear in the credits?

Your name will be included in the credits of my next completed short film. You'll be notified when the film is finished, and you'll see your tier reflected in the appropriate credit position (Special Thanks, Associate Producer, Producer, or Executive Producer).

How will I know my name actually made it into the film?

For The Named tier and above, I'll send you a photo from set or a still from the finished film showing where your name appears. You'll never have to wonder.

What happens to my Executive Producer slot if all five fill up?

Once the five EP slots are claimed, the tier closes for the current film. If you're set on Executive Producer, the best move is to claim a slot early — or reach out about a custom arrangement on the next project.

Can I cancel my Recurring Studio Support?

Yes, any time, directly through Stripe. Your credits on films made during your patronage are permanent — they don't disappear if you cancel later.

Is this a tax-deductible donation?

This is a personal contribution to an independent creative project, not a 501(c)(3) charitable donation, so it is not tax-deductible.

How is my payment processed?

All payments are securely handled through Stripe. I never see your card details.

Can I contribute more than the listed amount?

Absolutely. Reach out directly at nick@thenickmccabe.com and we'll discuss how to honor your contribution.

What if I have an idea for a custom perk?

I'm open to it. If you're interested in contributing in exchange for something not listed here — product placement, a co-producing partnership, promotion of your own film — reach out and we'll work something out that makes sense for both of us.
